Chesapeake Bay Oysters are unlike any other oysters in the world. Our oysters are known for their plump meat and slightly salty taste. At J & W Seafood, we have the ability to harvest oysters year around. We own several hundred acres of wild oyster beds that allow us to harvest when production demands. We sell shell oysters and shucked oyster product in the following grades:

We offer shucked oyster product in various point of sale sizes and food service quantities, in both gallon and frozen pillow packs.

Our shell oyster production allows us to harvest fresh Wild Caught Oysters. We are able to instantly wash the oysters through our conveyor system. We then grade the oysters to size and are able to pack quality oysters that guarantees freshness.

| Aquaculture Program |

Through our spat-on-shell aquaculture program, J & W Seafood has ability to grow our own native oysters. Production of spat-on-shell, using aquaculture techniques wherein oyster larvae are cultured and allowed to metamorphose ("set") onto oyster shells (called cultch), in tanks is underway through a collaborative program between Virginia's oyster industry, the Virginia Marine Resources Commission, and the Virginia Institute of Marine Science. In 2006, the second year of spat-on-shell programs in Virginia, 25 million spat were produced. We are very pleased with the results of this program, which lets our customers know that we are investing in renewable resources.
