We started J & W Seafood in 1982. By remaining family owned and very hands-on, we have earned a reputation for excellent quality and service. We supply only the freshest Chesapeake Bay Seafood to retail food chains and food service companies in the U.S.

We're passionate about the quality and freshness of our seafood, whether you receive it wholesale or at our retail location. Our all-natural products contain no additives or preservatives. We know that handling fresh seafood properly is extremely important. Knowledge and diligence are required. We have that knowledge, and we use it. The Chesapeake Bay is the largest estuary in the United States, and it's famous for its blue crabs, oysters, clams, and rockfish. Virginia and Maryland surround most of the Chesapeake Bay, and the Bay's watershed covers 64,299 square miles. More than 150 rivers and streams drain into the Bay. The Chesapeake Bay is about 200 miles (300 km) long, from the Susquehanna River in the north to the Atlantic Ocean in the south. Total shoreline for the Bay and its tributaries is 11,684 miles.

J & W Seafood is located in Deltaville, Virginia, which is on the Chesapeake Bay. The Rappahannock River is to the North, and the Piankatank River is to the South. We are fortunate to live and make our livelihood in this region.
